To follow up on what Erin said, it is very important that you take care of yourself first, so that you can take care of others effectively and efficiently. One illustration I've heard is that if oxygen bags are needed on an air flight, the parent must first put the air bag on herself to make sure she doesn't pass out, before putting it on her child. It may seem selfish (and perhaps even cruel) at first, but if the mother passes out, she'll be no good to anyone! So, I encourage you to take care of yourself first sister. We’re praying for you. Please give Gary and Marilyn our greetings and let them know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. (FYI - I am by no means calling the hurting Haitians "children". It's just simply an analogy).Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10551480885505850895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8543794318909962683.post-26725971439667031892010-01-28T11:09:35.903-05:002010-01-28T11:09:35.903-05:00Don't feel bad about taking time to rest! I once heard a sermon about spiritual warfare and the speaker said that many times, the best thing we can do in the midst of the battle is get our rest. When we are exhausted we can't fight at full strength. I hope you were able to get a good night of sleep!Erin K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07686443938324656578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8543794318909962683.post-10986544840755450422010-01-28T08:25:48.320-05:002010-01-28T08:25:48.320-05:00what did i tell you missy?! need to sleep every mo...what did i tell you missy?! need to sleep every moment you can. because it sure does catch up with you.Dana Laymonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14459914836102899147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8543794318909962683.post-19471819106676115512010-01-28T00:48:27.154-05:002010-01-28T00:48:27.154-05:00crazy to think of our conversations about the thin...crazy to think of our conversations about the things you would be doing when you got back and then how quickly that all changed. praying for you still. hope you get some rest soon- both physical and emotional. love you.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18238426650634070513noreply@blogger.com
